No credits in the account after subscription purchase

August 5, 2019 9:12 am

Hi,

We use “Woocommerce subscription” plugin with “Woo Credits”.

Once the subscription is purchased there are no credits in the subscriber’s account (0 Woo Credits). I’m only able to manually change the amount of credits in the user account section.

I’ve updated the plugin to the latest version, but it still doesn’t work. Thanks for any help.

  • Good morning! Thanks for post. Did you make sure to assign a Credit Bundle to the subscription product? https://woocredits.com/video-tutorials/creating-simple-credit-subscription/

If it’s a variable subscription product, you would need to do the same for each variation https://woocredits.com/video-tutorials/creating-variable-credit-subscription/

Please note in both instances (simple or variable subscription) you must select a Credit Bundle/Plan from the drop down box in the subscription product settings. Thanks and let us know.

    • Hi, Thanks for your reply.

All WooCredits packages are set up and assigned to products in Woocommerce.

All products are “Simple Subscriptions” (WooCredits package is selected from the dropdown menu in the “Credits Plan” section).

Let us know if you need more information. Thanks.

  • Thank you! We logged in and successfully purchased a Subscription and Credits were automatically assigned to My Account. Only difference we noticed was “virtual” was not selected on the Subscription product, so we selected “virtual” before testing purchase. Also, as noted in email, there was a noticeable delay (about 1 minute) for Credits to appear in My Account, when purchasing with PayPal as order moved from “Pending Payment” to “Processing” before Subscription updated to “Active”.

  • Hi again,

We have renewed “WooCredits” plugin and again we have the same problem as before, so once the subscription is purchased there are no credits in the account (we are only able to manually change the credits amount im the user’s account).

All subscription products are set as “VIRTUAL”, so we’re not sure what’s wrong now.

    Could you help?

    Thanks
